WEDNESDAY IN THE WORD
Perseverance
What is it? Why does it matter? What does it have to do with my walk with Jesus Christ?
THE STUDY
Following Christ when following Christ is difficult.
When we hear the word perseverance, we may think simply of continuing, refusing to quit, or pushing through difficulty. Biblical perseverance goes deeper. It concerns faithful endurance rooted in our relationship with Jesus Christ.
This study will examine perseverance from Scripture and consider how trials, discouragement, opposition, and even difficulties with other believers test what we truly believe about following Christ.
Future lessons will be added here.
As Wednesday in the Word progresses, this page can become the home for the complete study in lesson order.
Wednesday in the Word
Our purpose is not merely to know more about the Bible, but to understand God's Word so that its truth increasingly shapes the way we follow Christ.
