OUR PHILOSOPHY
Preparing children to become lifelong followers of Christ.
Based upon our theological commitments, Children’s Ministry exists to prepare and train children to become lifelong followers of Jesus Christ—placing their faith in His atoning sacrifice, faithfully serving within the church, and learning to share the gospel with those the Lord places in their lives.
OUR PURPOSE
Heart-transforming faith.
We strive to connect children to God by cultivating a heart-transforming personal faith in Jesus Christ through biblically sound teaching and relational discipleship.
Our Goal
Our goal is to see the hearts of children transformed so that they increasingly look to God in every area of life and desire to glorify Him in all they do.
Our Desired Outcome
We desire to see Scripture not merely learned, but practiced and applied in the lives of children as they grow in their relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.

OUR OBJECTIVES
What we are working toward.
- Promote biblical literacy and provide faithful instruction in God’s Word.
- Teach sound doctrine so children have a biblical foundation for understanding truth.
- Help children understand how Scripture applies to everyday life and give them opportunities to put it into practice.
- Provide a Christ-centered environment in which spiritual growth and transformation are encouraged.
- Provide godly examples for children to observe and follow.
- Help children understand God’s purpose for their lives and their place within the Body of Christ.
- Encourage relationships among children, parents, and ministry leaders through God-centered gatherings and activities.
- Reach into the surrounding community with ministries that introduce children and families to Jesus Christ.
- Involve children in the life and ministry of the whole church rather than treating children’s ministry as something separate from the church.
- Maintain unity and consistency among children’s ministries so that each contributes toward the same spiritual goals.
- Provide appropriate facilities, resources, and training that allow children to be taught effectively at their level of understanding.
- Regularly evaluate the ministry to determine whether its biblical purposes and goals are actually being accomplished and make appropriate adjustments when necessary.
