WHO WE ARE

The church belongs to Jesus Christ.

“He is also head of the body, the church...”

Colossians 1:18 · NASB 1995

Bonanza Community Church is not built around trends, personalities, or programs. We believe Jesus Christ is the Head of His church. Because the church belongs to Him, His Word must determine what we believe, how we worship, how we lead, and how we minister.

Our desire is not simply to attract people to a church. We want to faithfully point people to Christ and help believers grow as His disciples.

WHAT WE TEACH

Truth matters.

What we believe shapes how we worship, how we live, and how we serve the Lord. At Bonanza Community Church, we want you to understand not only what we teach, but the biblical foundation for those convictions. Our commitment is to faithfully teach God's Word and encourage believers to live according to its truth.

01

Christ's Church

Jesus Christ is the Head of His church. It belongs to Him, exists for His glory, and must remain subject to His authority.

Colossians 1:18; Ephesians 1:22–23

02

Scripture Governs

The Bible is God's inspired and authoritative Word. It is Scripture—not culture, popularity, tradition, or personal preference—that must determine what we believe, how we worship, and how we minister.

2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21

03

Faithful Discipleship

Our purpose goes beyond gathering people for worship services. We desire to see people come to saving faith in Jesus Christ, grow in their understanding of God's Word, and mature in obedience as faithful disciples of Christ.

Matthew 28:19–20; Colossians 1:28

WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO

Ministry should flow from biblical conviction.

Our first concern in ministry is not simply whether something works, but whether it is faithful to Scripture and brings glory to Jesus Christ.

That conviction shapes how we teach, worship, lead, make disciples, and care for one another. What we do—and how we do it—must reflect the truth we proclaim. The methods of ministry should never contradict its message.

1 Corinthians 10:31

LIFE TOGETHER

Fellowship is more than sharing the same room.

As a church family, we want to know one another, encourage one another, bear one another's burdens, and share life together. Meaningful fellowship requires more than attendance—it requires our lives to actually intersect.

CHILDREN & FAMILIES

Children need more than activities.

We believe children need to hear and understand the truth of God's Word. Our desire is not simply to entertain children or keep them occupied. We want to clearly teach them who God is, what sin is, what Jesus Christ has done, and what it means to trust and follow Him.

We seek to teach biblical truth in a way children can understand without weakening the truth itself. As part of that commitment, Bonanza Community Church partners with Child Evangelism Fellowship in reaching and teaching children with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Bonanza Homeschool Good News Club

Building a Biblical Foundation for Life

We want children to know the Bible, understand what it teaches, and begin to understand why we believe what we believe. Our weekly homeschool club helps children grow in biblical literacy and hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ clearly presented.

Every Thursday beginning November 5 · 2:00–3:30 p.m.

PLANNING YOUR VISIT

We would love to get to know you.

Visiting a church for the first time can bring questions. Here are a few things we would like you to know before you arrive.

Children & Nursery

A nursery is available. If you prefer to keep your young child with you, you are welcome to do so during the service.

During Our Service

To help maintain a worshipful atmosphere, we ask that electronic devices be silenced and that food and drinks remain outside the sanctuary. The back rows are reserved for families with young children.

Our Offering

Our weekly offering is intended for our regular church family. As a visitor, please do not feel obligated to give.

Stay for Fellowship

Following our worship service, we invite you to stay for coffee, refreshments, and a time of fellowship. We would welcome the opportunity to get to know you and for you to get to know us.

BEYOND OUR CHURCH WALLS

Missions We Support

As part of our desire to serve others and make the Gospel known, Bonanza Community Church supports ministries that care for people, teach God's Word, and share the good news of Jesus Christ.

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations”

Matthew 28:19 — NASB 1995

In keeping with Christ’s commission, we are grateful to support the following ministries:
